Dr. Cheryl Burdette’s experience combines clinical practice and laboratory oversight, giving her a unique perspective in evidence-based natural therapies, testing and research. Received her Doctor of Naturopathy degree from Bastyr University in 2001 and completed her residency at Cancer Treatment Centers of America. In private practice in Atlanta at the Progressive Medical Center, one of the largest Integrative Medicine clinics in the Southeast. Director of a naturopathic residency program with a focus in nutritional biochemistry. Serves on an IRB board and reviews studies related to complementary and alternative therapies. Published in multiple journals including Alternative Medicine Review and Clinical Chemistry. Author and advisory board member for Xymogen, and as Director of Research and Clinical Outreach. Faculty member at the University of Bridgeport and the University of Miami, the first medical program to include integrative medicine in the core curriculum. Faculty at George Washington University, the first PhD program in integrative medicine. Founder and Education Director of Dunwoody Labs, where she is involved in clinical trials of different nutritional products and development of functional testing profiles.
